Time to bounce back….
The events which have taken place this year have impacted our economy, businesses and the communities where we live. Anxiety and concern among consumers, your local shoppers and business patrons are exacerbated by fake news and disruptive conversations shared on various platforms.
As a local business, where you place your advertising is just as important as when you publish and what you say.
History has shown that the content that surrounds ads can have a direct impact on consumer perception of your brand. Your business is your brand and protecting it from running alongside content that is controversial and offensive is our top priority and it is something that you will never have to worry about upon deciding that Radio is where you will place your advertising.
Social media has been under great scrutiny, criticized for violation of privacy and has most recently come under fire for allowing hate speech. Social media companies and their platforms are not regulated under the same guidelines as those of media including Radio, TV and print across their platforms.
To date, more than 60 major U.S. advertisers across various sectors – automotive, athletic wear, clothing, grocery, insurance, restaurants, retail, consumer packaged goods, technology and more – are placing their social media advertising campaigns on hold in protest against the spread of hate and to protect their brand from being associated with disrespectful, politically charged and hate-based content.
Listeners tune in every day because of the truthful, trusted, informing and entertaining content that we deliver. We are part of your local community and the role that our station(s) play in unifying and building community are undeniable.
Now is the time where your advertising and marketing dollars need to be directed toward uniting consumers in the community with your brand and business’ purpose. As a trusted media partner, you can count on us to protect your brand and build your business.
Tyler or B.J. would be delighted for the opportunity to discuss how we can help.
